DIRECTIONS TO US TRAVELLING FROM CITY CENTRE DIRECTION
Heading westbound along the N4, pass the Foxhunter pub and Texaco Garage (pass the exit for Lucan Village) and travel under 1 flyover and 2 overhead footbridges. Take the dual carriageway exit, at the top of the exit turn left at the traffic lights onto the Newcastle/Adamstown road. Pass the church on the left and continue to a roundabout with Superquinn Shopping Centre on the right, and turn left. At the end of this road you will arrive at a ‘T’ junction and traffic lights. Turn left and continue along, driving straight through the small round-about and when you reach the bottom of the hill the entrance to Griffeen Valley Nursing Home is on the right.
Complaint Procedures and the Ombudsman
If you have complained to us and you're not satisfied with our decision on your complaint it is open to you to contact the Office of the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman provides an impartial, independent and free service. By law the Ombudsman can examine complaints about any of our administrative actions or procedures as well as delays or inaction in our dealings with you. The Ombudsman's remit relates to complaints about actions which occur on or after 24 August 2015. The Ombudsman cannot examine complaints about actions which occurred before that date with the exception of complaints from residents eligible to complain under "Your Service Your Say" (Residents whose place is provided under a contract with the HSE).

REACHING US BY BUS
The 25A bus stops right outside our gates. The 25A bus leaves Pearse St. with its final stop at Superquinn Shopping Centre. If you ask the bus driver to let you off the stop after Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre, you will be outside out main gate.

We accommodate 26 long stay residents with 20 single rooms (9 en-suite and 11 standard rooms), and 3 double rooms (all double rooms are en-suite).Our day care centre can facilitate up to 10 visiting day care clients.

We accept private admissions, HSE subvention payments and Fair Deal payments also and provide all necessary invoices and receipts to allow claims against MED1 form.We also accept payment from all major health insurers.
