ACCOMMODATION
We accommodate 26 long stay residents with 19 single rooms (9 en-suite and 11 standard rooms), and 3 double rooms (all double rooms are en-suite). Our day care centre can facilitate up to 10 visiting day care clients. Bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. Residents are encouraged to bring along personal items like ornaments, photographs and furniture to furnish the room and make it more homely. (Prior agreement required regarding large items of furniture).
All rooms have Nurse-call systems by each bed and multi-channel television connections. All the rooms are wired for phones, allowing each resident their own private phone line in their room (agreements and conditions are between residents and phone service provider).
Along with the 10 en-suite single rooms and 3 en-suite double rooms, there are 2 assisted bath/shower rooms and public toilet for visitors.
A bright sunroom, spacious Day/TV room, quite reading room/oratory and a large dining room make up the communal areas. The Nursing home is built around an accessible fully enclosed landscaped courtyard, which offers both privacy and security.
During your stay with us, please feel free to make use of all communal areas, at anytime. Activities ranging from Arts & Crafts or Bingo to a resident’s social afternoon can take place in the reading room. In the corner of the reading room you may notice 2 discreet wooden double doors. When opened, these doors will reveal an altar and tabernacle and the room is used for Mass on Sundays and other religious celebrations.
VISITING ARRANGEMENTS
Please feel free to invite your friends and family to visit you at any time. For security purposes the external gates are locked between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Please give prior notice to staff nurse in charge if you will be having visitors during these times so that arrangements can be made. We would also welcome you to invite a family member to dine with you on special occasions and also to take part or enjoy any of the activities that are being held in house. Please give prior notice to the staff nurse in charge if such arrangements need to be made.

The Staff Nurses are, of course, all registered with ABA and deliver individually and collectively a solid package of health care management.Read more

Tariff & Charges
We accept private admissions, HSE subvention payments and Fair Deal payments also and provide all necessary invoices and receipts to allow claims against MED1 form.We also accept payment from all major health insurers.
