Griffeen Valley Nursing Home, established in 1994 is a family owned and run business.

We pride ourselves on catering for a small exclusive group of only 26 residents at one time. This allows for a strong bond and friendship to be created quickly between the staff and residents. Our high staff to resident ratio allows for more time to be dedicated  to the care of each resident.

We are fully compliant with the new nursing home standards with private room sizes of 10sq.m. Large communal areas provide residents and their visitors maximum space and privacy outside of the bedrooms.

We are located in The Griffeen Valley of Lucan and our grounds overlook the 200 acres the Griffeen Valley Park has to offer.

Griffeen Valley Nursing Home is within walking distance of Lucan Village.

With the C1 Dublin Bus route stopping outside our main gate making The Lucan Shopping Centre, the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and Dublin City Centre just a short bus journey away.

Accommodation

We accommodate 26 long stay residents with 20 single rooms (9 en-suite and 11 standard rooms), and 3 double rooms (all double rooms are en-suite).
Our day care centre can facilitate up to 10 visiting day care clients.

Tariff & Charges

We accept private admissions, HSE subvention payments and Fair Deal payments also and provide all necessary invoices and receipts to allow claims against MED1 form.
We also accept payment from all major health insurers.
